Senate denies working against Presidency

The Nigerian Senate has denied that it is working against the interest of the Presidency as reported in some quarters.
This was made known by Leader of the Senate, Aliyu Ndume, on behalf of the Senate today while reacting to a publication.
Barr. Udo Udoma, who is the Minister of Budget and National Planning, was quoted in the said publication, as saying the Senate should be held responsible for the failure to meet October target for the consideration of 2017 budget.
According to Ndume, Udoma who was invited to appear before the house to throw more light on the document he submitted relating to the 2017 budget failed to appear.
