Beyonce’s dad, Mathew has given strong indications that Beyoncé will be performing live at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards which is slated for this month.
In an interview with a US TV show, he said the star sounds “tired” because she’s been working on the performance.
The reports, which have started to gain ground, have it that Queen Bey, who got nine GRAMMY nominations for her album, Lemonade, is set to hit the stage when the awards are handed out live on Feb. 12 on CBS.
ET also quoted multiple sources as saying that she was spotted in a secret location in Los Angeles with her dancers and other crew members, rehearsing for the event, yesterday, February 2.
The news is coming barely a day after she announced that she and husband Jay Z are expecting twins.
Mathew also said he was “shocked” to hear her pregnancy news and only found out after she made the announcement on Instagram.
But he said he’d since had a “wonderful daughter-dad conversation” with her.
She’s up for album of the year with Lemonade against Adele’s 25. They’re both nominated for record and song of the year too.
Her pregnancy announcement is now the most popular Instagram post of all time, with more than nine million likes
