Nigeria is destined for greatness – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed optimism that Nigeria will achieve greatness in spite of the current problems it faces.
Buhari spoke with newsmen in Sokoto on Saturday after he inaugurated the Kalambaina 500 Housing Estate built by the state government at the cost N4.8 billion. He said in spite of the challenges, Nigerians are determined to overcome and fight corruption.
The president admonished Nigerians to continue to work for sustainable peace, unity and socioeconomic progress of the nation.

The president commended the Sultan of Sokoto for being a fearless and tireless peacemaker and bridge builder within and outside Nigeria.

Buhari, having also commended Gov. Aminu Tambuwal for executing the project, he urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the facilities and hailed the sustained support and cooperation of the traditional rulers and the state governments to the Federal Government.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, among others were in attendance.
