Four killed as suicide bombers attack University of Maiduguri

Four persons, including three suicide bombers, were killed in the early hours of Saturday in another attack on the University of Maiduguri in Borno State.

It was gathered that the suicide bombers attempted to get into the university’s Department of Works around the early hours of the morning before they detonated their improvised explosive devices.

According to Saharareporters, the incidents happened at the Work department of the University of Maiduguri at about 1:06 am on Saturday morning, killing the suicide bombers who strapped IEDs to their bodies.

One of the security officers, who reportedly intercepted the suicide bombers, was killed in the blast while another was injured.
